Trail Notes

What we noticed on the ground

In November of 2017 we traveled down to Big bend National Park and back. While traveling north we made a quick stop into Balmorhea State Park and check out the largest spring feed swimming pool in the world! Although it was way to cold to go swimming in the thousands upon thousands of gallons of sweet water at Balmorhea State Park we learned a whole lot and now really look forward to a return visit! Leaving Balmorhea State Park we continue north east and end up camping at Monahans Sandhills State Park. Monahans Sandhills State Park is a very unique place, on the opposite extream of Balmorhea State Park where there is thousands upon thousands of gallons of sweet water, Monahans Sandhills State Park is exactly what you think of a desert with little to no water and huge sand dunes blowing in the wind. Truly a unique piece of Texas landscape! Come along with us as we continue our journey across west Texas! Check out my favorite RVin stuff on my Amazon page!! https://www.amazon.com/shop/DudeRV

Know Before YOU Go

Here’s what I’d tell you before you roll in

Campnab

Want the best campsite?

I do too.

I want the right site, on the right dates — not just whatever happens to be left when I make the reservation.

That's why I use Campnab.

I tell Campnab the campground, my dates, and the sites I'm looking for. If one of those sites opens up, Campnab lets me know.

Then it's up to me to grab it through the campground's reservation system.

Campnab doesn't book the campsite for me. It watches for the opening so I don't have to.

👉 Have Campnab watch for your campsite.
