Trail Notes

What we noticed on the ground

On our first Super C Camping outing in Trudy Thunder, our new Thor Magnitude, we spent a couple of nights camping at McCown Valley Park on Whitney Lake a U.S. Army Corps Of Engineers campground. McCown Valley Park on Whitney Lake is full of wildlife and there are plenty of places to fish and best of all relax. The U.S. Army Corps Of Engineers does a great job of maintaining McCown Valley Park on Whitney Lake. Our only detractor was that it tained on us most of the visit! On this visit to Whitney Lake we camped at McCown Valley Park and had little to no internet the whole visit and there was not any broadcast TV either! Come along with me on this visit to Whitney Lake and McCown Valley Park!

Mapped with our U.S. Army Corps Of Engineers stops.

Campnab

Want the best campsite?

I do too.

I want the right site, on the right dates — not just whatever happens to be left when I make the reservation.

That's why I use Campnab.

I tell Campnab the campground, my dates, and the sites I'm looking for. If one of those sites opens up, Campnab lets me know.

Then it's up to me to grab it through the campground's reservation system.

Campnab doesn't book the campsite for me. It watches for the opening so I don't have to.

👉 Have Campnab watch for your campsite.
